[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely made me super sleepy. I woke up several hours after taking feeling like I needed to drink an ocean of water. My throat was so dry and it was awful. I took of for several night straight and doubtful I’ll continue to take or buy it.

I tried a 5-day free sample of XYZAL I received from Sample Source. Concerned about the possibility of it making me drowsy, I took one pill each night before bedtime. Turns out my allergies were better during the days plus I slept great. Nice surprise!

I received a 5 day sample to try it out and in about an hour after taking it my allergies started to get better. I could breath, my face, eye and nose stopped itching, it was wonderful. It truly lasts for 24hrs; other brands claim to last 24hrs but most only last for 8 hours if that for me. I'm very happy with the sample and I bought some right away.

As a lifelong allergy sufferer, I have broken through most other allergy medicines at least once a year and had to switch. I haven't broken through Xyzal yet. I'm happy I can continue to use this for more than a year.

I bought the 80 count bottle at the beginning of spring and religiously took it every night. I have had NO allergy symptoms for nearly 3 months. I started taking it before my symptoms flared for the summer/fall. I figured maybe this allergy season wasn't so bad cuz I typically still have an itchy nose or a day when my symptoms break thru the medication. Then my pills ran out and I neglected to get more. By the second day without xysal, in august, my allergies got to the point that no medication was going to be able to tame it with the first dose. I ran out immediately to get more xyzal and I felt it working within the first hour!!!! The next morning I felt allergy free once again. I have not had this kind of symptom relief since I was a kid and actifed was allowed to be sold. But xyzal is even better because it's 24 hour, I don't feel it's cycles of ramping up and down, and it doesn't make me drowsy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective but made me drowsy, though not quite as markedly as Benadryl (diphenhydramine). I took in evening as directed and was extra sleepy next day. Not everyone will react like I do, and I'm menopausal and fatigue easily anyway, so take from it what you will. It did work well even on my itchy eyes, which is quite something.
