I was told to take XYZAL for itching rash from medication allergy. It works like Benadryl for me. Made me very sleepy and relaxed. Same as Benadryl for the itching. It's okay. I had to work, so I broke it in half and took around 6:00 pm every evening. Still made me very sleepy by the end of the day. They don't make a 12 hr. pill, just a 24 hr. pill, unfortunately. If I didn't have to work, it would be great because it really makes me sleepy.

It's comparable to my regular allergy medication ,that is a very well known brand. I wasn't sure what to expect. However, XYZAL Allergy 24 HR truly worked for the whole day and night. I didn't worry about the newness of the brand. It controlled my sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, and itchy, watery eyes. In the 5 day trial, which is how many tablets were in the box, I couldn't tell that I wasn't taking my normal brand. It worked that well for me. I would definitely recommend XYZAL Allergy 24 HR to anyone who has allergies and wants a break from all the symptoms. Only needing 1 tablet in 24 hours makes it a good value for the price. I checked with my Dr. before trying XYZAL. Overall, this is a really good product, and,I can see it becoming a major brand name in the Allergy catergory.

I took it with me to Florida and had absolutely no allergy symptoms at all while while on vacation. I was happy that I had tucked my free sample in my bag because my symptoms were awful before taking it! It saved me a week that was filled with fun and ended with the wedding of my twin sister's wedding. I can't imagine my life in the Spring without it! I am a forever fan. I highly recommend it to anyone with allergies! You won't be disappointed.

No more cough. No more post nasal drip. No more hives. Downside, I have been drowsy, sad, depressed, irritable, and just generally exhausted. So I stop taking it for a few days & I all of a sudden notice the symptoms diminished. I will not be taking anymore.

With this sample, I was able to try it and find out that it wasn't effective for me. After 6 days of taking it, it didn't help with any of my allergy symptoms.
