Both my teen son and I are experiencing bad seasonal allergies this year. Tried the sample of Xyzal and had some temp relief. It is definitely something you need to take daily to get the best results. What was best is my son was not drowsy after taking and still went to school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My significant other & I both have different types of allergies do when I took Xyzal I didn't really notice any change at all. Although my significant other has seasonal allergies that come and go if he's outside. He took a Xyzal pill & said he didn't really notice anything happening, but I noticed it made him quit sneezing & rubbing his nose/face every 5 minutes. I don't know if it was fast acting but it seemed quick enough for symptoms to reside. As for 24 hr effectiveness I have no definitive answer since he didn't go outside again, but at least he wasn't sneezing so it possibly worked for 24 hrs I guess.

Xyzal doesn't seem to work that well. it didn't make me sleepy, it didn't seem to help with my allergies, others I've used seen to help me more than this one. I was just not that impressed with it. I wouldn't repurchase this medication. I tried all of them just make sure.

I believe it was day 2 or 3 of taking XYZAL Allergy 24HR that I was really feeling substantial relief, relief that I had never experienced with other brands of allergy medicine that quickly, or to the same level of relief.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a 5 day sample of xyzol. It was not made clear on the packaging that it was meant to be taken at night. While it does work extremely well, even when I took it at night I was so groggy I could barely function for about 36 hours.

I can't take this product at night because I don't know if tomorrow morning I will actually have any allergy. Maybe I was not the proper target to try this product. I wish I could try it in the morning but it seems to make people drowsy.
