i use this mostly for iced tea. it has such a nice clean flavor and its refreshing and also tastes great with a little bit of fruit flavoring syrup if you looking for peach tea or something like that. its good as hot tea too but a little strong for me

Lipton black tea is my favorite! I grew up drinking it hot or iced. It has the best flavor, I can drink it sweet or normal. I never have a problem with lose leaves floating in my tea like I've had with other brands. I 100% recommend Lipton if you love tea!!

We have always used Lipton but when they changed the packaging something happened to the taste. The tea taste very weak and the bags appear to be smaller. Not sure of what has happened but we will have to try out some other brands to find one that tastes better. Sorry Lipton would love to continue using your product but the taste is just not there anymore

Lipton, do you not see all the negative reviews on your changes with the packaging??? I'm quite sure your sales have dropped dramatically. So why don't you fix the problem & change it back to the individual wrapped tea bags??? There's an awful lot of unsatisfied tea drinkers leaving negative reviews here. Paper can be recycled...foil takes a lot longer. Major mistake on your end. Tea does not stay "fresh" in this foil packaging once it is opened.

My favorite thing to do with this tea is make an all day cold sipper. Basically I make a gallon with only a few tea bags. I steep the 3-4 tea bags for about 5 minutes in hot water, covered. I add it to a huge pitcher of iced water. Then I throw in a splash of cranberry juice - the pure 100% cranberry kind - it's tart!!! And then I squeeze a couple lemon wedges in. Refrigerate and drink all day long. Gives energy and tastes great! I don't typically like sweet tea, but I bet sugar would make it taste great for those who do!

This tea is the reason I was in college before I realized I love tea. This was pretty much the only tea we had in the house when I was growing up and I hated it. It’s bitter and harsh. It tastes like it could be mostly dirt, which, quite honestly, it probably is. Cheap teas like this are usually made of “tea dust” or fannings, the leftover small broken bits of leaf that get swept up after the higher grade tea leaves are processed. The taste is revolting. My family and many others we spent time with frequently used it to make nasty over-brewed iced tea with about two pounds of sugar dumped in to try to mask the completely unpalatable flavor of the tea. Turning it into syrup didn’t make it any more appealing to me. I still cringe every time I see one of these boxes. There are grocery store teas I’m willing to drink that I will freely admit aren’t exactly high-quality but I can’t bring myself to go all the way to the bottom shelf and drink Lipton.

Lipton has been a part of my family for over 60+ years and it's drank daily. The new packaging is really bad. The foil pouches only keeps it fresh while sealed, once opened the bags lose their favor, taste and you have to store in something covered. Losing the paper/tags was not such a good choice when you want to carry a few in your purse. I hope this is only a trial and Lipton comes back in their individual paper bags.

This tea offers a smooth and well rounded taste. It is versatile to drink plain or adding a splash of milk or sweetener to it to even enhance the taste. You could even add lemon to it four times when your throat is sore. Overall, Lipton tea excels and delivering smooth fresh taste making it a dependable choice for tea lovers

I am in total agreement with all the reviews and complaints about the new packaging! It's awful and you really should go back to having individual wrappers. As someone expressed sometimes you grab a few to bring to work etc. and now they are just opened tea bags with no protection. And for some reason the cardboard that is attached to the string falls off all the time. They are not as secure. It would be appreciated if you would go back to the old packaging with the individual wrapper. As another tea drinker commented if it's not broken why try to fix it!

I love lipton tea it's one of my favorites. I really like the taste and everything about hot or cold but I prefer hot for this kind. I really like Lipton natural and black tea, green tea and the sweet tea. I buy Lipton tea all the time that tea is definitely always in my house especially because other family members at my house also love it.
