Please bring back the wrapped tea bags!

I have been a Lipton Tea drinker for more than three decades, and I was not happy when I accidentally bought a box of these foil-wrapped bags. They are loose in the bag (do not have the classic Lipton paper enclosing the tea bag), so they make a mess in the crystal jar I keep the tea bags in (hey, it was a present) and I can't toss one in my purse without putting it in a plastic bag. I got online trying to find the old Lipton bags because my grocery store only has the ones in the foil. I guess I am switching to another brand. :-(

My favorite tea!

I can't deny that Lipton Black tea is my absolute favorite. I have tea everyday, both Hot and Iced. Anyone who knows me, know that I always have Lipton Black tea bags in my purse. Doesn't matter if I'm visiting friends or family, they always ask for one when I'm having a cup of tea at their house. And Yes, I take them to Weddings, Parties and restaurants when dining out. Lipton tea is my cure all, for headaches, stress, or whatever ails me. But the best is my house is quiet, Relaxing with my cup of tea. Sincerely Margie On another note, I do have one complaint. The new packaging. Not liking the unwrapped bags at all. When I open a box of tea bags, I place them in my canister and refill my tea bag dispenser. These unwrapped bags do not sit the way they should in the dispenser plus, since they are unwrapped, I don't feel that the tea the bags inside stays fresh as the individual wrapped tea bags. Can you please consider going back to individual wrapped tea bags? Truly, Margie

I like this Lipton Black Tea. I love freshly brewed ice tea. I make a gallon at a time. My husband cuts lemons into wedges and puts them in a container to always have lemon with my tea. I just finished the box I had, and it's now on the grocery list to buy more. I do recommend this tea.

Laughing at other reviews

I got a good laugh at some of the other reviews that were so upset by the new packaging. I've had no problems with it, I put a few tea bags in a little Tupperware perfectly sized and was not inconvenienced at all. They stayed fresh, and they stay fresh in the new packaging also. I love your tea!

not a good change

I have used Lipton Black Tea for years. Recently there has been a packaging change that is not helpful. Instead of each tea bag being individually wrapped, they are now in big 'tubes' of foil and no individual wrapping. Not practical when you need to carry tea bags which I do all the time. May need to look at other brands....

How Long will it take before you fix it....

Have you ever tried to get the little tray/box back into the "New Stay Fresh Pack"? It is like trying to get sausage back into the casing. Just how does one keep the "New Stay Fresh Pack" closed so that the tea stays fresh in the "New Stay Fresh Pack"? The only thing I found that fits on the end of the foil after folding it closed is a small bullnose clip. Really, come on Lipton, I had to buy tea way more often when the tea was in its own package, because I drank it more, because I could carry it with me, it was easy and fun I could slip it into my pocket. I loved Lipton tea. I grew up on Lipton Tea, no other tea taste like Lipton hot or cold. But now I use other teas over my Lipton just because it is such a chore to get it out of & back into the "New Stay Fresh Pack". Please fix the packaging, better yet just bring back the individual packages.....

Familiar

I grew up on this tea every summer. My parents would throw a couple of these bags into a glass jar and set it out and make sun tea and during the winter we would brew a gallon every other day. I still remember exactly how my parents like to drink their tea and as an adult now who does not drink tea very often I still always have this in my house. It is a quality product it last forever. It is your standard tea. You really can’t mess it up and it’s cheap.

This is my go

This is my go to tea. I always have a pitcher of sweet tea made in the refrigerator. That's the way my mom is and grandmother was. I don't know if it's a Southern thing since I was born and raised there or just a generational thing. But this is the brand of tea they always used as well. I used to use the bigger bags but the store was out one day. So I bought this instead, I switched to it after because I feel it tastes better and gives fresher tea since the others are not sealed like these. These have four rows with each row sealed in a foil like pack. There are 100 tea bags in the box. I recommend this definitely.

My go to

Whenever I’m making milk tea, sweet tea, or need a warm tea bag for eye cold, I always make sure I have these in stock. Weird learning experience, we heard using these in your bath when you have poison ivy or rashes of sorts is helpful, and it was totally right.

I use the family tea bags or the smaller size too. I use 2 big or I use 4 small! Boil water, take off add tea bags then cover. To let water absorb into tea bags. 30 minutes later. I add 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar. Mix well and refrigerate. I’m from the south. We love our sweet tea!
