What the heck are you people thinking? Your black tea has tasted the same to me for my whole life and I'm 70 years old. I usually drink two cups of your black tea every evening and untold glasses of iced tea in the summer, but we just recently got a box with the new packaging and this stuff is undrinkable. I see a number of comments by people who are all lathered up about your new packaging, I can take or leave that, but the flavor (or lack of flavor) is unacceptable. Whoever is responsible for this change needs to be fired and the previous tea blend put back into your yellow boxes, however you want to package it. This box of tea is going over the side and until I hear otherwise no more Lipton Tea will be purchased by this household. In addition, your rating system needs a "0" star because a "1" is too high. This is a huge disappointment because I have enjoyed your product so much in the past.

Do not like the new packaging at all!!!! Whats going on ? I have been drinking your tea exclusively all of my life did not mind paying extra for good quality - however the taste definately is weaker - perhaps due to cheap packaging? Your tea is now nothing more than store brand with one of your tags attached - you can do better! Until the quality improves I will.no longer be buying your product- just not worth it any more!

After reading reviewers talking about the new packaging, I was so pleased to know I am not the only one disappointed. As consumers, we don't fall for your reason "So good we had to wrap it up." , Truly, we are not completely clueless. There are other brands of tea I enjoy, so now there is really nothing to set you apart. I counted on the Lipton envelope to toss in my purse or lunch bag. So sorry to see you have caved. Hate the new packaging, (instead of individually closed tea bags, it is 4 foil covered sleeves of 25 LOOSE tea bags). The tea bags are no longer easily portable, less hygenic, and do not stay as fresh. Not sure what consumer testing and high paid exec made the decision for this horrible change, but I hope a smart Lipton employee is reading these reviews and will change the packaging back to its original. Just want to make a note, that if this decision was to lower the manufacturing cost, I would gladly pay more for the original, indivudually packed tea bags. As for the taste change, I personally don't see a difference, but I always liked a lighter tea. However my husband has said he can taste the difference...and its not for the better.

I bought this for my daughter and husband. They seem to love this tea as they drink it almost daily. I love the easy packaging so I don't lose all the tea bags and the price is great. I haven't tried any other flavor but would be interested to trying the peach flavor that sounds really good. Always buying this brand cause it's the best.

One of my go tos for a hot tea, the packaging is good, the bags don't fall apart and the flavor is just what you want just add alittle sugar and milk and enjoy! Definitely a better quality product compared to some others in taste and durability of the bags.

This tea is a classic brew. It is delicious with a little bit of milk and sugar. There is something about this tea that is very soothing and comforting. The lipton black tea has a very unique flavor than other brands with a black tea product. This tea tastes richer.

This is our go to for tea at home for just normal black tea. We go through a box about a week especially in the summer. Probably because we make 2 separate gallons at a time. Hubby and son like sweet tea and I like unsweetened. It has a good flavor and never let's us down.

For many years I've enjoyed drinking Lipton Tea. I use to be disappointed if my tea bag came apart in my drink. However, my biggest issue is the new packaging with the foil wrap. At times, I would need to grab a few tea bags to take with me. Now, the "new and improved" wrapping is not well received by me due to the fact that the foil wrapping does not provide any increase in quality freshness.Once you open it and pull out a few tea bags, the wrapping only provides a conversation piece with other household members. Lipton needs to go back to the individual wrappers.

Lipton has been a part of my family for over 60+ years and it's drank daily. The new packaging is really bad. The foil pouches only keeps it fresh while sealed, once opened the bags lose their favor, taste and you have to store in something covered. Losing the paper/tags was not such a good choice when you want to carry a few in your purse. I hope this is only a trial and Lipton comes back in their individual paper bags.
