Another product bites the dust of modern "improvement". So, for a hundred and more years, Lipton had been basically the same... A reliably great product... A wee bit more expensive than the rest, but well worth it.... And then "bottom line" reared its ugly, ugly head and we have their new and improved packaging and product... ... Another memory lane product that used to be that will eventually (and soon) leave its makers scratching their heads as to why their losing market share... So sorry, Sir Thomas...

Lipton black tea always takes me back to my Nanas house having a refreshing cup of sweet tea after playing outside all day. Now the refreshing smell of tea steeping gives me an instant relaxation feeling. There’s nothing quite like a glass of Lipton’s.

I like the new packaging, but still wish it was made like it was before you started to try to make it better. If I make a cup of tea which I have every morning by the bottom of the cup it is tasting bitter. If I make iced tea by the bottom it is very cloudy and we throw it away within a day or two. Don't know why you changed it. I have been drinking Lipton Tea for over 60 years and always enjoyed it until you changed it. Will keep buying it out of habit, but if I find something I like better I will change right away. I also wonder when I was in the hospital and asked the nurse for a cup of tea it tasted like the old tea, but when I got it from the kitchen it was like the new. I don't know where they get the good old tasting tea.

I purchase these tea bags regularly and they are the only ones I use to make iced tea for my family. My mother and my grandmother also used Lipton for their iced tea and they make great tea. We all do. Lipton makes amazing tea it’s what they do. I’ve tried other brands, cheaper brands, store brands and it’s not the same, the tea doesn’t taste right…I ended up throwing stuff away and buying the Lipton tea bags for my iced tea so I even don’t bother wasting my money anymore. I prefer buying the smaller tea bags because I have different pitchers I use for the ice tea on different days and occasions so this gives me the ability to make as much or little tea as I want when I want to which I like.

I love Lipton Black Tea and I have been drinking it for over 40 years, both hot and cold. Why would you stop taking the time to individually wrap each tea bag for the ease of your loyal customers? I think you would like us to believe that you are keeping the tea fresher in the sleeve but we all know you are just trying to save time and money but at the expense of your loyal tea drinking customers. Having the tea bags all together in a sleeve is just not the same and is really awkward, inconvenient and downright unacceptable. I have tried to use the tea bags by taking the tea from the sleeve but I work and travel and am out and about and, in the past, I was always able to throw a few wrapped tea bags in my purse or briefcase or in the drawer of my desk or backpack and now I have to worry about dragging around a sleeve of tea bags just to keep them fresh! I'm very sad to say that I think I have to move on to a different brand.

This is our go to black tea that our family drinks everyday. We enjoy the smoothness of the tea whether it is hot or ice it makes a great option to drink daily. It is also really affordable as it comes with many bags available in one box. It also stays fresh for quite a while. My family enjoys it and would definitely recommend to anybody that enjoys black tea to try this out.

Can't go wrong with Lipton Black tea. It's perfect every time. Iced on a hot day is always refreshing. If the weather is cold, hot tea warms you up. It's perfect just the way it is. It's easily affordable. It's my go to any time I buy tea. I purchase it often.  

I have been drinking two cups of tea (mostly Lipton) each day for the last 50 years. Between the new packaging and changed taste it IS time for a CHANGE. Twinings English Breakfast is excellent: strong but not bitter. America's Choice (A&P) tea is also excellent. BTW, A&P stands for The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, which was founded in 1859. Teetly tea is also very good. No reason to be loyal to Lipton after they damaged the product that I have been faithfully drinking for over 50 years.

I do enjoy a cup of nice black tea but with this black tea you just have to get the consistency right or its too much.I usually end up making about a gallon at a time and and I'm drinking tea most every everyday. Very affordable I am you can find it usually at your local grocery store.

Alright black tea, especially if you're a black tea drinker. I've driveline drank better teas (like British, Indian and especially Persian black teas) but this is a widely available, inexpensive tea so that's its upside. These are individual tea bags so it feels like you're wasting the tea because the tea gets too dark and bitter if you leave the tea bag in your cup for longer than 1 minute but even that can be too much sometimes. It might be worth trying but there defibrillator better out there.
