This is good tea, and YES you can used it to make ICED TEA. Don't trust the label directions -- you don't need to buy an expensive cold brew. Simply place one "family-size" tea bag in a one-gallon pitcher of cold water. Keep in the refrigerator overnight. Remove tea bag in the morning, and you'll have good-tasting iced tea! (Lemon flavor optional).

I have enjoyed fresh brewed Lipton ice tea for as long as I can remember. I am 75 years old. As a child we used loose tea leaves and brewed fresh tea every evening for our dinner meal. There was always a pitcher of Tea in our refrigerator to get us through until the next evening meal. Mother insisted on LIPTON TEA! As an adult, I gradually moved from loose tea to tea bags & always insist upon Lipton tea. I regularly purchase the package of 48 one gallon tea bags. I desire the taste of strong brewed tea therefore I was never able to make a full gallon of tea using only one tea bag. THEN...along comes the NEW PACKAGING. I am supposed to be convinced the small tea bags make the same amount of brewed tea. Words cannot express my disappointment. I used one tea bag in a 1/2 gallon pitcher & still I achieve NO FLAVOR at all. The "tea" is little more than murky water. Why should I continue paying for a product with very little, if any at all, flavor or taste. I am not sure how many consumers will make the effort to contact you; but why should anyone continue to purchase your product as a premium tea when it has little or any flavor and definitely does not provide any benefit over a much less expensive product. I VERY MUCH hope you will reconsider the amount of tea used for a gallon sized pitcher of tea or I may cease to drink tea at all.

We keep a two gallon glass jug of tea in the fridge at all times. Who on earth wants to brew it with all those smaller bags? I order two packages of these giant bags which gives me 4 boxes. They last in the pantry a year until used up. I online priced all sources and with shipping considered, (free over a certain amount) Walmart is the least expensive. And fast!

This product has always been reliable and has a great value. If you need to make gallons of tea at a time for picnics or dinners, this is the product for you. One bag, when steeped, can make 2 gallons of tea. Much easier and cheaper than using 20 individual tea bags.

Lipton is one of my favorite tea brands. And with a family of 4 living in the south...we go through a lot of sweet tea. We actually have 2 gallons in the fridge at any time because my husband likes his tea weaker and less sweet. I like a good strong tea, made with lots of sugar and lipton does it for me.

Lipton has a name for itself-good tea reasonably priced, but the first package I received had unsealed bags and the tea from them were all loose in the box. Walmart rectified and all is well. I just hope this is not an inclination of product quality control.

I am a fan of iced tea, how great the ability to prepare a gallon at a time, I drink iced tea all year round, taste great, Lipton wonderful quality.I made so many iced tea. I don't follow the instructions for tea, I just do something special and it shows well the easiest way to make iced tea! I fill a large water jug with 1 gallon of water and drop into a tea bag. Leave for 15-20 minutes and the tea is ready to drink

I am addicted to ice tea. Made well, using quality tea, yoi just cant beat it as a cold, thirst quenching beverage. these tea bags are economical, easy to use and make flavorful tea. the perfect size for a pitcher of tea either cold brewing or using boiling water.

i love these tea bags. makes ice tea easy and quicker. i used to use reg tea bags and make sun tea. my hubby drinks its so fast im making it daily. so i tried these. theyre great. just fill mympicture put in a tea bag let it sit. depending on pitcher sise i add anywhere frim 1 to 3 bags. great tasting. maybe alittle more expensive these days but it a better taste . worth it. i loce lipton tea. been drinnking it since i was a kid.
