I really don’t like spending the money on an onion soup mix. However, I tried to DIY it myself and it’s nowhere near as delicious as the Lipton mix.

I have used this for over 40 years. Put in so many recipes my most favorite is putting on a roast before i put in the oven and let it slow cook all day.

Easy meal.....sear pot roast, add pkg onion soup mix and 2 cups water, simmer 4 +/_ hours and thicken liquid.....mash some potatoes, veggies and mmmm gooood.

You can jazz up a lot of recipes with this simple packet. I've started using it with ground turkey and pork to make it taste like more expensive beef.

INSTANT LIPTON SOUP, I ALWAYS ADD TO FRESHLY MADE HAMBURGERS, CROCK POT CHUCK ROAST POTATOES CARROTS AND ONIONS. I HAVE EVEN USED IT IN FRESHLY MADE HOMEMADE SWEET BREADS, USING ONLY 1/4 THE SUGAR THE RECIPE CALLS FOR. CAN ADD CHOPPED ROSTED PEPPERS, GARLIC POWDER AND CHUNKS OF CHEESE, AND HOT CHOPPED PEPPERS TO TASTE AND TRY OTHER FAVORITE SPICES. VERY GOOD.

Excellent to Jazz Up Hamburgers. I keep this around not just for the excellent soup or dip, but to add to a pound of Hamburger when making burgers. It gives burgers a juicy onion flavor. Guests always want to know my secret, and I am happy to tell 'em its the Lipton Soup. Works well with the Onion/Mushroom mix as well.

Been using it in my foods,Collards,cabage , meats etc,etc,etc. I keeps two packages of six of lipton in my house. My food tastes a little better with it. Can't cook without it. Well I can but help my food taste better. My mother and I got bless her soul have been using lipton in everything we cook since it first came out. Lipton makes your food taste better. Along with a few other seasonings and vegetables. I don't go home wit out it.

so good to have this pack on hand when you need it, I know it has high salt but I use half a package a lot of the time in recipes then I add other ingredients and fresh spices and walla a great meal in the crock pot or instant pot or oven. Saves time when I am in a hurry or forgot ingredients or just haven't had time to shop for everything needed to make flavorful meals, I love to cook and this is a cook's secret to great recipes now and then

I mean hey, this stuff has been around as long as I can remember. Is it even possible to make a roast w/o it? Enquiring minds want to know. Also, does anybody actually eat it as soup or does it just end up as a dip or roast seasoning? Anyways, everybody knows it's good.
