Tones Chicken Base is the best. Be careful with this beef one. Depending what recipe you use it in. Can add an overwhelming almost rancid taste like in gravy. I guess use it sparingly. I don't see many recipes calling for beef base so you have to experiment how much to use. But a dab will jazz up a ramen cup-o-noodle nicely

Thought a large place like Sam's would have Beef base without MSG added

I have always used the original Tones beef base, but this is far superior for my needs.
