Bought this because of the great price point. I use a good amount of cinnamon in my oatmeal every morning. This cinnamon turned the water into a jelly slimy consistency. Very gross! Also, did not care for the taste very much. I will be returning this product.

I've been buying this for over 5 years and I cook and bake from scratch. For years, I've been adding increased cinnamon to recipes "because we like it more cinnamon-y." I took my tried-and-true recipe for apple crisp to a relative's house and made it with a name-brand cinnamon and the recipe was so overpoweringly strong with cinnamon that it wasn't enjoyable. Turns out I've ben increasing the cinnamon because Tone's brand cinnamon is mild. The price is ok and this cinnamon tastes good, but I have been using 20-50% more than recipes call for!

This cinnamon, when mixed into hot coffee, creates slimy clumps that then float at the bottom of the cup. Is there an additive in this product ... perhaps a non-caking agent? I'm not returning it, but I'm also not using it anymore.

Does not smell or taste like cinnamon. It's like Ceylon cinnamon, and has more of a nutmeg taste. I thought it was just me, but then I compared it to the Spice Supreme brand. The Spice Supreme brand smells and tastes like regular cinnamon.
