I've used this packing tape to hold together very heavy boxes that were almost disintegrating. Book Fair Returns for a school. Weve also used it to reinforcethe covers of heavily used reference materials. I also use it for at home lamination of cards and art projects.

This is the best packaging tape in the world. Nothing beats it. It holds my packages shut whether they are shipped, moved or mailed. It is easy to work with and doesn't sliver when I use it. I would recommend it to all my family and friends. It's worth it for the quality and performance.

I use this tape at work ALL THE TIME & ITS GREAT. I am a pkg. Handler at one of the largest shipping companies in the world & if it wasn't for this tape, our delivery drivers would have terrible days because of companies who do not use this kind of tape and in the process off shipping their boxes start to break open , resulting in the contents getting lost of damaged in the process, which makes for unhappy delivery drivers as well as unhappy customers. No bueno when customers don't receive all they were expecting because of other ineffective tape used to close packages. Scotch brand packaging tape is the BEST!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great for sealing up boxes. It is strong and seals really well. The fall back tabs on the dispenser really keep the tape from sealing back on itself, unlike other brands of tape I have used before. When I started the roll, the tape split into smaller strips, but there was a strip across the width of the tape, near the beginning of the roll, that helped you pull up the whole width of the tape. So no getting pieces of tape that are only a centimeter of two in width, or wasting your tape trying to get the full width. That is an excellent feature! The only drawback is that the tape doesn't roll off very easily, and I had to turn the roll on the dispenser with my other hand. In other words, I had to manually unspool the tape before putting it on the package, instead of just pulling the tape out across the package. But other than that, this tape is the best I have ever used. I would give it 4 1/2 stars!

I always keep a plastic garbage bag in a closet ready to be filled. When my grandchildrens birthdays or Christmas is near, I am ready to send their gifts on the way that will arrive unbroken. There is nothing better than Scotch High Performance packing tape to seal my boxes. I moved recently and can honestly say the packing tape held up better than the expensive purchased boxes.

Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!

The Heavy Duty Shipping Tape has worked great in all our shipping.

I bought 5 rolls of packing tape. Wheres the adhesive? The only thing it sticks to is other parts of the tape.

This tape sticks to paper but you can easily peel if off without disturbing the paper -- extreme lack of adhesion.
