I prefer to use quality name brand batteries in my items at home. I have used cheaper ones in the past, but they are not durable and will tend to rust quickly ruining your device. Instead, spend the extra money and buy the best! Energizer are really fantastic and I have not had issues with batteries leaking or rusting.

We have a rule in our house when daylight savings happens we change all the batteries in the remotes and smoke alarms. We use lithium in any electronics we can around the house. And they always last until the next change. I have consistent on-demand power in my electronics and it lasts.

They will make your lights brighter and run longer, and you'll forget your tv remote even takes batteries. My roku remote is super hard on batteries. Standard batteries only seem to last a couple of months in it... but these... I have had the same set of energizer lithiums in it for almost two years now and it is still going strong!

For reference other batteries die with in 7-9 days, I have had these batteries in my game for 14 days now and they are still going strong. I found that these batteries last so much longer for weeks of gaming fun before even needing to be replaced before I was changing batteries every week if not sooner now this is no longer a problem
