best bang for buck

I love these beans but most of the cans arrived dented in multiple places. They weren’t packed well in the box so they had many dents from careless handling.

We were very disappointed when we received the cases of pinto beans. Somewhere along the way in shipping the Sam's box was dropped or came untapped because our items were placed in a Fed-X box. Two of the 3 cases were very heavily taped up to hold the cans together. There were 6 cans so badly dented that we gave some to friends so to help us use them up before they go bad. Why put so many heavy items in one box, so many people don't care what happens to things that are for someone else. To them a heavy package for someone else means they will have to put out too much effort to carry it, no pride in a job well done.

These pinto beans are very good. They can be served as a side dish or used as an ingredient. I find them very handy to have in my cabinet. I can choose to have beans with my supper shortly before preparing the meal. If I cook beans from scratch, I end up with too large of an amount that took hours to prepare. You can spice up your beans by serving with salsa, or choppung up a serrano pepper with some onion, saute and then add a can of Bush's Pinto Beans and heat.

These are a great way to have beans without all the work. We empty a few cans into a pot, add a good amount of butter, and boil for a bit till the soup thickens. Server with cornbread and you can hardly tell the difference. Also you can add butter or bacon and fry the can of beans. Fry and stir until bean soup thickens and they start to crisp. Server for breakfast with eggs or gravy and biscuits. Maybe throw in a tomato slice and it's simply divine.

Delicious Pinto Beans! No wonder they're called Bush's Best! They are the BEST! My daughter in-law mashes them up and makes the most delicious refried beans ever. I buy these every time I visit them and simply restock their pantry. She knows I know how good a cook she is making authentic Mexican Food that I simply cannot eat enough!

I bought these pinto beans many years ago because I forgot to make my homemade pinto beans and I had family coming over. Since then (12 yrs) I’ve continued buying them. I just wish Sam’s Club would still sell the BIG can; I think it was 110 oz. I constantly have family coming over and they love beans with chorizo, beans with bacon, or plain fried beans, so the big can was a great size for us. Now, even this 6pk box is hard to find because not all the Sam’s Club carry them… So sad! I love that the taste of these beans is the closest to home cooked beans when it comes to canned beans.

I thought I was ordering Bush's Baked Beans, but clicked on the Pinto Beans by mistake. I'm glad I did. I've never had their Pinto Beans before, but I really like them. Different from the pinto beans I make, but the different flavor is welcome now and then. This was one happy mistake, and I will certainly order them again.

I didn't know if I would like the taste of pinto beans but after tasting them for the 1st time I will continue buying them. I got them because they are a lot more healthy for you than the baked beans. Yes the baked beans by bush is delirious, but I eat as healthy as possible so I choose these. I'm glad I can get these at my favorite store to shop at which is and always will be sams club.

All six cans were damaged in the first delivery and the box was opened. In the second deliver, two cans were dented, and again, the box had already been opened. The boxes were opened with a straight-cut, box cutter type. This makes me believe the boxes were pieced together with damaged goods. The three Sam’s I frequent don’t carry the item on the shelf so I have to place an online order.
