I assumed since this product was for something serious as being Diabetic, it would work. It was what the pharmacist pointed out and it was priced cheaply. I bought it and it takes 5 times to get some type of reading. My fingers are getting sore and I just got this. Now I can see I will need a real one to use and trash this one. It is horrible that Walmart allows this

Test strips are advertised as being "easy to handle"--they aren't. Try to get one out of the container and half a dozen more come out with it. They are also too narrow to be handled the way one is instructed to in diabetes management classes. Also, in order to obtain control solution, one has to contact Accu-Chek and order with a credit card. At least Reli-On doesn't charge for the control solution. Most insurance carriers will not cover Accu-Chek.

Utter piece of garbage. Not at all easy to use, takes a lot more blood than my old meter, doesn't want to show me the number just hi or low, supplies and case are not user friendly for those with large or arthritic hands. They seem more interested in pressing you to download their ap/use Bluetooth/synch with a computer. My $9 Relion was far superior.

ReliOn Premier costs less and is considerably easier to use. Not all people who do glucose testing have 20/20 vision, and Accu-Chek requires too much visual acuity. I don't see accuracy at this price point being a big issue. If someone is that concerned with dead-on accuracy try one of the $120 meters with the strips going at about $7.50 each.

It’s easy to use and a great value, but not sure it reads correctly. Every time I check it reads either 111 or 115. I’ve even check directly before having it checked at the doctor, and the doctor’s reading was 88.

It is awkward to hold and is confusing. The bag it comes is very cheap made and not worth carrying it in. It doesn't come with any strips. I wouldn't buy it again.
