This is by far my favorite glucose monitor out there... My batteries burned out after 3 years.... Maybe a little less but I would definitely recommend this because it is inexpensive if you have to pay for it yourself and it's more reliable than the ones my insurance pays for...

It works like it's supposed to be. I needed one. I had the strips, but I left the monitor at home so Walmart did rescue it does what it supposed to do. Check my sugar. I recommended if you need one Accu Chek Close monitor.

it works well when it works the problem is I put two last year and I have to already buy another one this year so it breaks easily

I had the previous unit and it was great. Needed a new one and ordered what I thought was the same. Wrong. Found that it has been remastered by lowering the quality of materials and also the tracking is difficult to read and no clear instructions.

Bought it for my husband, he needed a new tester big enough he could see his reading. Got it home, no test strips. Test strips were $89 for 50. I have the tester here %26 its worthless.

Accu-Chek used to innovate like being the first with strips lined up so they didn’t spill. Now they call it an “update” to ditch a sturdy case for a flimsy pouch where everything just flies around. That’s not innovation, that’s a downgrade.
