My granddaughter was born with jet black hair. My daughter chose this product because she believed it to contain natural ingedients. The child's hair lightened and lightened until it looked almost blond at the age of 18 months. Of course, we know that children's hair can change over time but it was unusually light. We began to suspect the shampoo and stopped using it. Now, at 26 months her hair is a beautiful chestnut brown (more natural for her heritage and ethnic background). We think the citric acid in this product might be too strong.

I have allergies and extremely sensitive skin and have used Aveeno products for years as they do not cause me to break out in rashes like most other products. 10 months ago my husband and I started noticing red dry patches popping up in different areas all over our infant son. See we had been using all the baby gift products we had received at our sons baby shower. None of which happened to be Aveeno products. As soon as we noticed the red dry eczema like patches on his skin we immediately swapped all of his baby products over to Aveeno. We give him a bath in Aveeno baby wash and shampoo and then use Aveeno baby lotion on his skin. He still every once in awhile will popup with a small red dry patch but it is far and few between. We love Aveeno Baby products and will not use anything else now.

I get that some brands want their products not to have a scent but I personally hate the smell of this. It's not appealing even on a baby. I also had issues with my baby's skin after use. Not only was he extremely dry after using both the wash and baby lotion but he developed a rash on his back, neck, head areas. His cheeks, forehead, shoulders and chest broke out as well. His skin completely lost its natural baby softness and started to feel rough and dry. Even after I stopped using the product it took a while for his skin to go back to its natural texture.

My baby boy who's only 5 months broke out horribly all over his body when using this hypoallergenic body wash. I wasn't sure if it was the body wash at first. However after a few days of letting his rash clear up some, I showered him again with this body wash and his skin broke out horribly all over again. I took images and they are horrific. I hate seeing him go through this and I have 5 large bottles of this left that is a complete waste of money because I don't want that body wash anywhere near my son again

My son has Eczema and always did good with this before the changes, I would apply your Eczema lotion on afterwards, but sadly not anymore, he's getting flare-ups from this, at first I thought it was a random flare-up, but it continued after every bath afterwards, so disappointed wish I could find the one before the new scent. He's 1 and shows his discomfort very well after his bath it's sad because he loves bath time

Love this baby soap. It smells fresh and clean, and lathers up well. A bit on the pricy side, but well worth the extra few dollars.
