I don't know anything about the old formula. This Aveno is moisturizing and has a clean fragrance, yet without perfumes. My only complaint is that the pump does not pump well, and you have to get more soap constantly. The pump will not give a full pump! A good pump would get a 5 star review!

This body wash had just a light scent that wasn’t to earthy more just a clean scent. The body wash is thick which I liked and made my skin feel very hydrated.
