It provided a good lather on the wash cloth and the smell was pleasant. The scent wasn’t overwhelming and I could still layer it with my scented lotions and perfumes. My skin felt moisturized afterwards.

After one use my skin felt very smooth and smelled great. I will def buy this once my other body wash is empty.

I don't know anything about the old formula. This Aveno is moisturizing and has a clean fragrance, yet without perfumes. My only complaint is that the pump does not pump well, and you have to get more soap constantly. The pump will not give a full pump! A good pump would get a 5 star review!
