It was just a basic scent, not overpowering. I would recommend it especially if you have sensitive skin!

On the other hand I do not like the scent very much. I only tried the one lightly scented version. So the other scents may be more appealing. My skin does not feel dry or rough when I am done, but I am still having to use a separate moisturizer. I do have hard water though. All being said I think the product does a great job but it could be better.
