This is a very adequate lotion but I would not say it is particularly good or effective for dry or extra dry skin. The biggest problem with it is that the moisture almost completely disappears moments after application. Sure it's very soft immediately after applying and there's not really much greasy feeling but the softness lasts such a fleeting time it's absolutely not worth it. I recommend Lubriderm advanced therapy instead it locks in the hydration for days!

You really cant beat this lotion! It smells fantastic, does not leave any film on the skin, and above all is amazing for dry skin. Rather than putting a band aid on the issue, it HEALS the skin from the outside in. After using it for many years, I can really say it is the best drugstore lotion.

As other reviewers have noted, the new formula has an unpleasant odor reminiscent of decaying organic matter. Our family is sensitive to fragrances, and being fragrance-free was one of the reasons we have trusted Aveeno for over two decades. If the new scent is a result of the new formulation, we will be discontinuing our use of Aveeno.

I have the “intensely nourishes dry skin” formula. If you have this or thinking about it, you have to really work this into your skin. I'll put this on after the shower and it's fine. It's nothing special. I'll keep using this until it runs out, but I won't be repurchasing this.

This lotion has very simple ingredients list and does what is supposed to do. I can feel my skin being moisturized for 2 days after I use it. The only thing is the smell. I know it is fragrance free because many people are allergic to fragrance, but it smells like a wax candle.

My skin really needs the moisturizing and this lotion is the solution! I love how it applies, the scent is not at all overwhelming, and it really lasts me all day! This is definitely the right size for me, if I had to share with anyone though I would definitely get a bigger bottle :)
