This daily "moisturizing" lotion did not work for me. It was supposed to moisturize the skin, however, it ended up making the skin itchy with rashes. Not sure if it is due to dimethicone or the wheat ingredients it contains. The bland smell did not help either. The most active ingredient in this is listed as dimethicone, a water repellent silicone polymer. I guess it is no more than petroleum wax in fancy packaging. I wish it had more natural emollients than polymeric chemicals. I went back to Nivea and felt much better.

I have very sensitive skin, and when I was younger I hated lotion because it left my skin feeling irritated. Since I rarely used lotion it caused severe dryness. I love Aveeno and have used it for a million years. However like a few reviews I have seen here, I have been very bothered recently by what I won’t call a fragrance but an actual odor. And I don’t mean that they scented it with something I don’t enjoy. I mean for the first few minutes you have it on, it actually smells like you haven’t bathed. It wears off quickly and other than that I still love the product but why??? I sincerely hope they clue in and fix that.

The lotion is absorbed quite quickly, there is a slight stickiness in the first minute or two, it does not leave a film on the body.
