This lotion has distearyldimonium chloride, which can be irritating to sensitive skin. It creates a "smooth" feeling on your skin instead of actually hydrating your skin. Isopropyl palmitate can cause acne flare-ups and clogged pores (blackheads and whiteheads when used excessively), as well as skin irritation. Terrible choice for sensitive skin.

My elbows and hands get so dry and chapped. I put some of the sample received from Crowdtap at night and was surprised to find that this product really works. I've read the other reviews and the problem is not with the pump. The lotion is gelatinous, not flowing. When the bottle is down to one third full, since the lotion does not flow, it does not fill the void around the bottom of the pump stem, making it seem that the bottle is empty or the pump is not working. That is why the lotion does not readily come out when you upend the bottle. The lotion works well, but since it is a hassle to remove the last third, I am considering finding another product to fill my needs. OR, Aveeno could improve the lotion so that it is still as effective and can also be readily pumped to the bottom of the bottle.

I love the Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion. It really reduces dryness in my skin, and I use it daily. But the pump doesn’t reach to the bottom of the bottle. Turning the bottle upside down is hard because the pump sticks out. It’s necessary to take the top off and shake the the bottle to get to weeks of product that’s left behind. Please do something about that!

Just what my skin needs during the colder months! My skin was so dry and even flaky in some areas so I needed intense moisture. I use this lotion at night before bed and see my skin immediately more moisturized. It's thick but still smooth and spreadable, and not greasy at all. I wanted a non fragranced lotion but it's a bit funky smelling…slightly medicinal, maybe from the oats. That's the only reason I deducted one star.

I remember the product before Johnson & Johnson purchased the line. When ingredients are changed even if just the percentage, the product should be improved or at least the same - not for Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. Sorry I purchased for stocking gifts this past Christmas. Now I'm shopping for another lotion.
