I just bought a new box of this and found the taste to have changed. The are much less sweet than my family is used to and we do not like it at all. The box has code KLB 011 12:52 Feb 20, 2027

It is so crunchy until the milk just softens it up and makes it so good. The ingredients are good, and it smells like my childhood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The frosted mini wheats cereal tastes so good! I love the little added sweetness the frosting gives to the cereal while eating it. As is normal for this type of cereal, if you let it set in milk too long they get a bit mushy, but that is pretty normal and to be expected. I like the extra protein and fiber that the cereal gives you - helps to make it an easy way to get some extra into your diet. All of the pieces are pretty uniform in shape and size, which is nice when eating it.

The pieces get nice and saturated while maintaining a good crisp, it's super satisfying. As a kid I didn't think these were sweet enough but now I think it's just right. I do drizzle on a bit of peanut butter which I do with most cereals (try it!)

I feel like it leaves me feeling full during the morning as well. Doesn’t get soggy too fast but isn’t super hard to chew or dry. Also great for grabbing a few for a snack.

I’ve been trying to eat more fiber and it’s an added bonus that they are a great source! They are sweet, but not nearly too sweet. The right amount to have for a breakfast bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been eating this cereal for breakfast most morning over the past week and it’s a decent option with some quirks. The bite-size wheat biscuits had a solid crunch with those 10 layers of wheat they mention, and the frosted side is sweet without being overwhelming. The 48g of whole grain per serving is a good amount and the fiber content does seem substantial based on the nutrition label. However, these little biscuits stay really hard even after sitting in the milk for several minutes. You have to let the soak for like 5+ minutes before the soften up enough to not feel like you’re crunching rocks. If you eat them right away they are almost too crunchy and kinda hurt your teeth. The wholesome wheat flavor is pleasant and not too bland, and the frosting adds enough sweetness to make it tasty. No artificial flavor or color is nice. The 16oz box lasts about a week with daily eating. I have also eaten dry as a snack straight from the box which works pretty well, they’re portable and don’t make a mess. The good source of vitamins and minerals is a plus. Price is reasonable for a box of cereal. The low fat aspect is fine if that matters to you. I have tried it with both regular milk and oat milk and it works with either, tho like I said you gotta wait to soften. Would I buy it again? Yeah probably, it’s a solid breakfast option that’s convenient and filling, just wish they soften up faster in milk.

It's first a crunchy texture and has that sweet icing on each piece. I like to snack on them especially if I am on a time crunch. After adding milk, it becomes saturated with the milk and is so satisfying. It has the perfect sweetness and is a well balanced breakfast choice.
