Frosted Flakes

I'm 60 years old and have neen eating these since I was a little girl. Everytime I have purchased Frosted Flakes at Sam's club they have been very fresh and are a good value. Love them.

Not too sweet - just right

Great deal at Sam's Club online - low price and free shipping - arrived quickly. I love to eat Frosted Flakes alone (no milk) or combine with a "healthier" cereal and milk.

Really Good Flakes

These are really good corn flakes. I have tried store brands and they are not consistent in their frosting. I have returned to Kellogs Frosted Flakes and love them. "They are just GREAT."

Frosted Flakes Always popular

Frosted Flakes are always a popular choice in our home. Now that our kids are older and eat less sugary cereals as a breakfast, Frosted Flakes continue to be an option for a crunchy sweet snack and addition to granola on yogurt and fruit or ice cream. We use them also for chicken tenders as a breading to add crunchy sweetness. This large box has two bags inside and from Sam’s are consistently fresher than purchasing from the supermarket. The expiration date is much longer and they have always been consumed long before that date arrives.

Rediscovering an old favorite

Cookies and cream are the perfect small snack when I am craving something sweet. Reading the ingredients sounds no longer listed in regular Frosted Flakes or the cookies and cream. My daughter is violently allergic to soy- can you confirm they are soy free?

GREAT!

This cereal is great. It also tastes amazing. But if you are diabetic use something else. Even if you say only a little. Your sugar will go very high. It has a lot of sugar which of course everyone knows. But it really makes a lot of difference even a little on your sugar levels.

Bland

I'm not a huge fan of Kellogg's cereal; I initially purchased it only because my kids requested it. I found it to be overly sweet without much distinct flavor, which led me to stop buying it. It might appeal to those who prefer sweeter breakfast options, but it didn't meet my expectations for taste and variety.

They changed the recipe

Frosted flakes has basically been my favorite cereal my whole life. However, they have changed the recipe (like so many companies cutting corners with rising costs). It is less sweet, so there's a stronger corn flake flavor. It's unfortunate this a 2 pack because I won't even be finishing the first bag. I am not a fan and neither is my family. Farewell frosted flakes!

We love Frosted Flakes BUT

We love Frosted Flakes but we had an issue with our last purchase. We bought the double bag box and within the next couple days we went though the first bag. The second bag however had an issue. There were tiny holes in the bag and we found ants in the bag. Not like hundreds of ants but at least 25 - 30 just crawling around the inside of the bag. We do get a few ants here and there in our home but it's only like one or two and not very often. There weren't ants anywhere else but in the bag of cereal and upon close inspection we could see a few tiny, very tiny holes in the bag with the ants insides. Perhaps there was only 15 ants in the bag but I don't want any. So next time we'll inspect the cereal immediately once we get them home. The second bag did sit on the shelf for 3 or 4 days so there's a chance they could have found their way in while here but there shouldn't be any holes in the bag from the start.
