They are reinforced with extra strength making them suitable for heavier items and the size is large enough to accommodate a good amount of food but not too large that they take up too much space.

These are wonderful for us picky eaters who don't like their food mixed together, (especially kiddos)! These are strong and great for kids and adults alike. Starts at 12 making whatever, finishes 7:30. Now the family will back me up, why, our famous words are “are we eating yet”. This is why we use the plates. With all the pots used to make dinner, who wants to make more dishes with 12 people.

These compartment plates were a godsend as peas could not accidentally roll and touch mashed potatoes, for example. They also kept pancake syrup from touching the bacon. At our place, these plates were our salvation.
