I like that there is no leaking, sturdy enough to hold food ( hot or cold )without collapsing and are our family favorite for picnics, family potlucks and holidays. Their plates are strong and sturdy, and I love that they're biodegradable and made from recycled materials. They're perfect for parties or gatherings of any size, and they make clean-up a breeze. I've used other brands of disposable plates, but Chinet has become my go-to because of their quality and reliability. I usually cook my big meal then. So we always have meat, potatoes and vegetables and these plates work wonderful. Love the Chinet products.

You want to savor your meat, vegetables, potatoes, etc and therefore, they must not run into each other and only the Chinet Dinner Compartment Plates do this. Plus they are the sturdiest disposable plates I have ever used.

Primarily the sturdiness of the plates for steaks and big eaters who prefer large portions. Secondly we have family (grandchildren) who don't like their food to touch.
