[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Considering this was sent for free, it is important to lead with the fact that the product did exactly what the product was made to do. I have no idea the price point. There were plenty in the package for a family of 2. It made dinner clean up easy and hassle free which is always great. If I was in a situation where I had no other plate options but this, then it would be great. Other than that, upon opening the plates, they were pre scratched and had what seemed like paint on them which was confusing because it would mean they were packaged in that condition. I would not buy these to use for a party personally because of how scratched up they were. I was hoping it was maybe just the top plate that maybe got damaged in transit but somehow they were scratched throughout the stack which is not satisfactory for me to spend money on unless I'm in an emergency situation. For reference, I ended up plating sushi, wasabi, ginger, and drizzling soy sauce. I did not attempt to cut on the plate so I cannot speak to how it would stand up to any knives. It did hold up against the soy sauce which was great. So overall, I can't recommend these point blank. There are too many variables at play as you can see. If you simply do not care about aesthetics, price, durability, etc then I guess I could recommend them since they did the job of holding my food.

These plates are absolutely amazing for a cookout or barbecue, and incredibly strong and sturdy, so no need to worry about overloading it. They’re pricier compared to cheaper alternatives but in my opinion worth it

They work good in the microwave, hold up nice when damp , and hold a substantial weight of food . The styles make them practical for a daily meal or a big get together . The plates are durable enough to contain heavier items like lasagna without possibility of spilling food, they hold well and do not stain . The best future is they are disposable! You don't have to wash them, if someone is sick in the house, there is a minimal posibility of contamination of the rest of the household through sharing the dishes.

Moving to WA last year was an education in recycle, composting and garbage reduction. After my move I switched to Chinet plates specifically because they are compostable. I had not purchased them prior to moving and was skeptical at first. I am glad I made the switch. They are great plates and I have not been disappointed in the performance and durability of use. Paper plates were a large portion of my trash every week. Using Chinet I can put them in the compost and not in garbage.

Chinet Classic held up to the test. All plates held the food and made it to the table regardless of how much or how stable the delivery was. There was no need to double the plates like every other brand I have tried.
