No longer a sturdy product The plates are no longer sturdy. Can not put anything that contains much moisture or the plate or the ate will rip. They have become very light weight. Not at all worth the price anymore. Been purchasing these plates for years but no longer. So sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chinet’s Classic Lunch size plate is a staple in our home! They are a great size for everyday meals, whether you are at home or on the go. They are super strong and hold up well to almost all foods. If the plate does get wet some from food, a knife can cut through the plate...but for the most part, cutting is safe and easy. It holds quite a bit of weight without bending which is great for bulky food items.

They are much more durable than the off brand plates. I can really serve a hearty meal with lots of sides and not worry about these plates breaking or leaking on guests.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these plates for a small gathering and it was the best decision. First, they are the most durable disposable plates I have ever used. I love the fact I did not have to worry about my guests ending up with a soggy plate or a bending plate or feeling like they are eating off paper. Secondly, they are classic white so they felt more "fancy" and timeless than a plate that has a printed pattern on them. Lastly, the sizing was spot on for a few appetizers. If you are doing a meal, I would size up to the dinner platter size so your guests have plenty of room. I definitely feel the price is right for what you receive. Definitely would recommend!

Chinet plates can be used for any meal of the day, since they stand up to heavy items and sauces. Using them doesn't leave you feeling guilty, since they are made from recycled materials, are compostable, and are made in the USA. If you feel like being "bougie" and environtmentally conscious, use Chinet plates!

We ate fried chicken on them for dinner and although some of the grease did soak though, the plates still held up. I would be curious to see how they hold up if you had something with a sauce on them as they seem to absorb relatively easy. I would definitely recommend the plates but might caution that you would want to consider in advance the type of food that you will be eating.
