With a family of 5, especially with 4 being grown men that try avoiding doing the dishes so naturally gravitate to using paper plates, etc. They were surprised to have 1 plate hold up with multiple burgers, fries, chips, dip and not as much as a single crease.. that's a win win!

If you have something really hot and juicy, it can start to soak through the plate though. But that would happen to any paper plate. They are very sturdy and not flimsy so you can eat substantial things on it. So they’re environmental, convenient and good quality.

These plates are think enough that the kids donuts drop food off them when carrying the plate to the table. It’s all high quality and the little cups work great for hosting pool parties!!!

I was always skeptical of these plates, but I am definitely a convert now and will continue to purchase these in the future!

I would not hesitate to buy these for any function or event that I was planning. Chinet for me equals peace of mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These plates are made with 80% recyclables and with family, 10 3/8in in size, and made in the USA to cut down on transportation impact. I have two kids so between them, work, and just a busy day to day life, paper plates are a big staple in my house! I’d never used this brand before receiving them from Influenster and Chinet. They are sturdy, perfect size, and affordable. I cooked a variety of meals ranging from saucy, greasy, and food that needed to be cut up. The plates worked great for the less messy meals, they didn’t fold or bend under the weight of the food and we didn’t cut through them when cutting our steaks. For the most part, they did good with the saucy/juicy food but they absorb a good bit of the juicy flavor some would prefer to have still on their plate, such as with the Mississippi Roast, and left a residue on the table. I am on the fence about whether I will purchase again or not

Never will buy these plates again!! I used to buy these plates all the time, they were always my go-to plates. But I stopped buying these a few months ago, as they were getting expensive, like everything else has. But I was at a different grocery store that didn't have my usual plates, so I decided to give these another try. Just like some of the other reviews about these plates, mine too has black, splotchy marks on them, but I figured it was part of the way they were made, and didn't think anything of it.(it was just a few, not the entire bag.) Anyway, as my family and I were using these, we noticed that whatever we were eating, liquid was showing through the bottom of the plate. Clearly, Chinet's description says leak proof and microwave proof, which is mainly how we use these plates. I'm also noticing that food is sticking to the plate too, and who wants to eat paper and food? Not me!! I'm having to use two plates just so food doesn't leak through. To me, that's just as wasteful as buying these plates! When I used to buy these on a regular basis, I never had the problems as I'm having now! They used to be great plates, they're big enough to for a family of 4, and they used to hold up when used in the microwave. I don't know what changed in making these plates, but the quality just isn't there anymore. I will not be buying these again!! :(
