Not great for very hot foods

I usually use a different brand but I wanted to try some plates that were compostable and not shiny. These plates are just as sturdy as my normal brand but they get soggy after a short time with very hot foods. They’re pretty awful for breakfast foods such as eggs or pancakes. I will not buy these again.

Disappointed

We have bought the Chinet plates several times in store, this time they were ordered and I assumed they were the same that we had purchased in store, however these were a size smaller, not what we wanted, the same thing happened to us with Vanity Paper napkins. Looking back at the web site, the larger plates and larger napkins don't appear to be available to order.

I am a single parent with a large family. After a long day at work, I am first to say, the dishes can wait. These plates hold every entree and snack my family eats! I purchase 1 for work and 2 for home. The plates do sweat with hot items, so make sure to have some paper towels underneath.

It's a Chinet plate you grew up with but spongier

It's a Chinet plate but does seem spongy. It does quickly absorb hot foods with gravy, juice or salad dressing (oil based) too fast. But we'd rather deal with this than purchase foam plates that are not environmentally friendly at all. We would still buy if the price/qty is right.

EVERYTHING SOAKS THROUGH

I am so disappointed with these plates. Everything soaks right through these plates. I purchased it because Chinet plates are very sturdy and leak-proof. These plates are a disaster. Everything soaks right through. I will never purchase again. Sam's brand plates were much better.

Not quality material

Initially I was disappointed with the size. But this was the first time I had purchased these online and I was very disappointed with the quality. They are thin and do not hold up. When I have purchased chinet in person at a store they have been very good quality. Not so with these.

Diminished, but Still Great Product

Great product, need to watch quality though. The batch that I picked up my bag from had extra "fluff" around the plate edges, making it difficult to separate them as the uneven edges stuck to the next plate on the stack. Overall still great - holds up well even to wetter foods and sturdy enough to cut meat on.

Chinet classic 225 - 8 1/4 inch plates

I counted the plates because it didn’t appear to be 225. Only 177 plates can be used others were dirty or warped. Plus I was missing 22 plates out of the 225 plates. So I was not able to use 48 plates because either they were dirty and damage or missing. I will be returning these plates. I wanted to show some pictures but it wouldn’t allow me to upload them unfortunately to show you all. What a shame. It kept saying client network error how convenient.

These are the worst paper plates ive ever used. I wish i would have paid $2 more and purchased the generic brand i usually purchase. These plates are like eating off paper towels. I will NEVER purchase Chinet again. Wet cardboard is more sturdier than these plates.
