It seems Chinet is using recycled paper in some of their plates. I have use the older standard plates and new purchases (80% recycled) from Sam’s Club. The newer plates soften significantly more than the older style. A lot weaker. Seems like they kind of sneaked this one in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a loyal Chinet paper product user. The reason? No leaks! I use these plates for everything from BBQs, Family Reunions, Road Trips, or just don't want to do dishes one night. No matter what item of food I put on these plates, there is no leak. Cottage cheese, sandwiches, pickles, pasta salads, and more. Great Product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for the kids lunch, so we didn't have so many dirty dishes, now that everyone is home. They hold up to whatever we put on them without cracking or bending. And if there is just crumbs on them they wipe off to be used again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always keep these great white plates on hand, we usually have lots of family and friends for meals..it’s real real treat to not have so many dishes to wash. Also in our area we can put them in our compostable yard waste container when we’re all done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having a cook out earlier this month and wanted some sturdier plates. Regular ones always tend to collapse. I ended up buying the Chinet Classic White lunch plates. They were so much more thicker than the rest. I was so impressed with the quality. They held up beautifully and made clean up a lot easier. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really had some difficulty choosing a product to review. I use most of them and have some of the products on hand at any given time. The White lunch plates are even strong and hold up to a lot of food. I would reccomend all your products. The cups stay strong for hours with liquid in them for hours. Your plates go for the secound and third run around the serve yourself dinner for even hungry men who pile food up heaping, and then go back around the secound and third time. I have watched some rinse their plates off before going another round. If it is the Chinet brand you can depend on it to hold up even with the most messy of foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these lunch plates. They were very sturdy and I did not have to worry about them folding in the middle while using them. I also did not have any problem using them in the microwave up to a minute 30.
