These plates are healthier to eat off than styrofoam however and small amount of liquid (example:beans or even pasta sauce) will seep through and make the plate soggy and soft.

I hate a flimsy paper plate! These Chinet paper plates are thicker and stiffer than normal paper plates. I only use one plate and don't worry about the plate folding up and spilling the contents.

These can handle a full plate of food without the fear of buckling. Recommend for gatherings when you don’t know how much someone is going to try to pile on the plate.

I purchased these plates as the ones I usually get were not in stock (they are coated). If any liquid gets on the plate, it goes right through. I would never purchase Chinet again

Excellent plates, dosen't let grease penetrate. However if you have a heavier dish you are heating or whatever, you need to double up because these are light weight.

Sturdy enough not to collapse if you load them with food, which is the important thing. We also love that they are made with recycled materials and are compostable. What's not to like?

Half the time, I use this for dry foods, so I can put it in the recycle bin. Otherwise, I don't mind throwing it in the garbage because it's paper, not plastic, so it will dissolve eventually.

We use these daily. We live in a class A motorhome and no dishwasher so this help to ct down on dishes and can be used for all occasions. Holds up to most any food

This plate is ok for cakes and passtries. However for juicer types of food its not a good plate. We would use 2 or 3 plates so the bottom of the plate wouldnt get soggy.

Use these all the time, sturdy for pizza, sandwiches, snacks. But they seem to always come bent and misshapen. Packaging issues i guess. But if not using for a gathering it doesn't matter.
