I wasn't concerned about it not holding up to the snacks I selected and the fruit didn't run off the plate either. I would recommend this to others and plan to use these in the near future for a graduation party!!!

The classic style matches any decor when hosting parties, and Chinet Plates are durable enough for b-b-qs and buffets and even the Grandkids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't matter your age, 91 or 4. When I bought these for my son's graduation party we had all ages an all grips and balance issues. Chinet Classic held up to the test. All plates held the food and made it to the table regardless of how much or how stable the delivery was. There was no need to double the plates like every other brand I have tried.

It seems Chinet is using recycled paper in some of their plates. I have use the older standard plates and new purchases (80% recycled) from Sam’s Club. The newer plates soften significantly more than the older style. A lot weaker. Seems like they kind of sneaked this one in.

I've always thought Chinet was a very reputable company. But they substituted Chinet for the Sam's Club brand paper plates and these Chinet recycled plates are so gross! They have brown spots and yucky stuff on the back and holes and gray holes and bunched up paper and spots all over gray black brown it's just disgusting I would not recommend these!

As our guests loaded up their plates with food from the birthday spread, i watched folks holding their overly full plates one handed with no issue or bend in the plates. Awesome job chinet!
