These are strong just like they always have been you can almost put soup in them and they won't bend or break. I can't wait to use them we are very fond of using paper plates and these will do a lot better and save a lot of mess as far as my kids go.

The fact that they're biodegradable gives me a lot of peace of mind. These are great and convenient. Far sturdier than expected. Being paper based, you also don't need to worry because wherever they end up, they will start breaking down and not harm the environment.

They stand up great when you pile heavy amounts of Thanksgiving dinner leftovers that would warp other plates. We try to be mindful of waste so whenever we've used a plate that's not too dirty, we'll reuse it until it is and it stands up great with no leaking.

I like that the edge is rounded over and creates a barrier for those foods that tend to get away - I'm looking at you peas! Also for gravies and other liquids it helps well also. Great plates!
