Let me save you the trouble. I've compared all the top brands of canned no bean chili. Hormel is the meatiest of all of them, and best overall canned no bean chili bar none. I didn't expect it to be better, but it is, hands down. For a quick chili recipe with beans, take one can of Hormel no beans, add a can of Ranch Style beans, a can of chili beans (keep sauce), and a small can of Rotel tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and enjoy. I also usually add a teaspoon of cayenne, and about a 1/2 teaspoon of cumin to kick it up a notch.

I have and will buy Hormel chili any chance I get. We also used this on nachos with cheese and onions. So we got a couple of meals on one can of chili and we left the table satisfied

We made chili dogs and chili cheese fries. They were absolutely delicious. We didn't have to add anything to it, it was seasoned to our satisfaction.
