[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this chili as a base for a pot of homemade chili that I made with canned beans, tomatoes, a can of Hormel Hot Chili No Beans and some spices. It didn't taste too bad, but it's a bit salty and greasy for my liking. I was also not aware that the chili contained pork until after I ate it, as I am an individual who does not eat pork products. I would recommend this to friends or family that like canned chili.

We've always used Hormel chili for our chili dogs. As soon as I put it in the pan I could tell it was different. Really soupy with not a lot of meat. Taste was different too. After all these years of buying it, I won't waste my money now. Whatever you changed - change it back!!

My husband and I really like this chili, without beans. He has been putting it on hot dogs for years but I never wanted it...i am crazy about Capitol Lunch chili in Connecticut which has been around for 100 years! So then I weakened and tried Hormel chili, and have never looked back...it tastes somewhat like Cappy dogs....I think it is the cumin. So I just made dogs with Hormel and we are happy happy! Bought their corned beef hash and am looking forward to it for breakfast.

This is the most important ingredient in my recipe for sloppy Joes. However, since you made the can smaller, there is less chili goodness in the end product. I don't know how to adjust the other ingredients to get the same sloppy Joes taste I have grown up eating and fed to my children and grandchildren.

It is easy to cook and takes barely any time, but most importantly it takes amazing! So much better than the cheap hot dog chili I was buying!!

It probably wasn't the best for spaghetti, but would be a great option for hot dogs. The texture was great, and not too runny (which is great for hot dogs but not as good for spaghetti). Overall it was still very good.

It can be used for chili, omelettes, pizza, and so much more! It also doesn't need any added flavorings, it's ready to go, making mealtime quick and easy. The texture is great, no tiny pieces that you can barely taste, it's all normal pieces full of flavor. Excellent product!

The chili was thick and had plenty of meat. I used this product to make chili dogs and they came out perfect! The flavor was perfect as well, not too much spice which I like.
