The chili tasted weird - exactly like the hot sauce served at Wendy's restaurants. So we tried to modify it by chopping onions, adding Sriracha sauce and baked beans and frying. It got to be too much trouble. I called Hormel and their customer service was extremely poor. A supervisor (Holly?) answered the phone. She just shrugged and said "if you didn't like the taste, it's just your preference and we can't do anything about it".

Like to keep this on hand for those days I have pain issues so intense that I can't cook. We have to get fast food often, and the chili is cheaper. Don't really like it in the summer heat, but in the cooler nights it is greatly appreciated. We used to buy Wolf Brand, but for at least 10-15 years now it gives me a bad case of reflux. Hormel is beginning to do the same but not nearly as much so far.

Not a can chili person, but my wife like. Add your own spuces and add ons to suit your taste

We like to use it for chilidogs. Its tasty.

Bland taste

product is good. i wish they sold it in the store and carry the spicy no beans. the case was ripped open at one end and 3 of the cans were dented and dirty. the pallet of chili probably fell at the warehouse and they had to sell the damaged product. these cans were still dirty probably from an open can of chili. this box was a replacement for an earlier order that came all dented up.

Huge chunks of meat, less sauce, and no heartburn afterwards.....way better than the one with the dog on the can.........and I'm from Texas!

Great to have this pack laying around.. it makes it great bean dip and isn't too bad on hot dogs either.

This recipe for your chill is horrible. You need to revert back to the recipe you used twenty years ago, then it taste great. I will not be buying your chill until a new and improved recipe comes out. And it better be good.

When your in a hurry or just don't feel like cooking or it's a cold night, this is a good go to for a quick meal, heat and eat, add a few onions, or your favorite toppings and your ready to go.
