Let me save you the trouble. I've compared all the top brands of canned no bean chili. Hormel is the meatiest of all of them, and best overall canned no bean chili bar none. I didn't expect it to be better, but it is, hands down. For a quick chili recipe with beans, take one can of Hormel no beans, add a can of Ranch Style beans, a can of chili beans (keep sauce), and a small can of Rotel tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and enjoy. I also usually add a teaspoon of cayenne, and about a 1/2 teaspoon of cumin to kick it up a notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hormel Chili with no beans is my favorite to eat with hotdogs during cookouts. When you don't have time to make chili from scratch this is the way to go. It's easy to make just warm it up. Doesn't have a grainy taste like some chili I've tasted.

New recipe is not good. Basically just bland chilli flavored soup. Honestly when I opened the can the smell reminded me of the wet dog food I gave my puppy when he was little. I used to love this product and bought it all the time. Never again. It appears they thought that they could cheapen the product and none of its regular purchasers would notice. I'm disappointed.

We tried the no beans first and my children loved it. They are not keen on beans so this was a great alternative for them. Great flavor and very hearty.

Fortunately, my father dislikes beans even more than I did so this was the "go-to" canned chili that was frequently in our pantry. My favorite way to eat this chili is on top of hotdogs with mustard and onions. One can is more than plenty enough for an entire package of hotdogs (for the family). I've purchased this product in the past and will definitely purchase again in the future. I already have my grandson enjoying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tastes good heated in a pan on the stove or in a glass bowl in the microwave. Best with sprinkled cheese melted on top and some tortilla chips. It's not too salty. Perfect amount of chunks. Great flavor. Nice and plain.

I used this chili to put on top of hot dogs for dinner and it was a huge hit, not only with me but with my kids as well. It even past the test of my picky 5 year old! I wasn't spicy at all and had homemade chili flavor that went great with my hotdogs. I was impressed that this chili had such good flavor coming out of a can. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes chili.
