I just found a splinter of wood in my can of Hormel Chili with Beans! It's longer than my index finger! I usually love this brand, but now i am skeptical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hormel is a trusted name. The quality is perfect. The beans give it an extra kick. Not too hard or greasy like some other brands. I hope they never change their recipe.

Hormel used to be the best canned chili around, and now it's different. The sauce is gluey and there's no meaty texture. Not like chili anymore, tastes more like cornstarchy soup. I guess we'll try Denisons.
