Hormel Chili with Beans - It a decent chili for everyday consumption. It's great for chili hot dogs, chili omelette, chili spaghetti, or just a bowl of chili. It can be spiced up with a bit of Tobasco sauce or add some chopped onions and some grated cheese. It doesn't compare to a homemade chili but it's quick and easy. Unlike homemade chili that can vary from batch to batch, Hormel Chili is consistently the same and will always have that same great taste.

Back in the late 80's or early 90's, you gave in to the pressure from the health conscious community and reduced the amount of fat from 27g per serving to 9g. it took a while, but we adjusted. I had a can today. First bite! I knew something was different. Not only has the fat content gone from 9g per serving to 12 (yay), but it has a sweetness in the taste and alot more chili powder than before. Why can't R&D just leave it alone?!?

Good Chili, but we like to add extras. Pastas, like Macaroni and petite diced tomatoes. Sometimes good old Chili dogs, with Hormel. Pour the warm chili on tortillas with some shredded cheese, for a supper or lunch wrap. This basic in a can is always ready for new ideas, especially these days!

So Warren owns DQ. Must be the chili dogs, a favorite of mine. Keep on trucking, Hormel. No need for cheap dinners & noisy brats & IOUs from 2 bit biz men who need you more than you need them. Now watch the fossil pull out the check book at the cashier's. AI anyone?

It came down to a situation where a 38 oz can or Hormel Chili with Beans was the only food I had available to eat for a whole day, and bottom line, it worked. Thanks Hormel for making this good-sized package. I recommend keeping this item on hand. This canned chili tastes pretty good with decent-quality meat, add some hot sauce if you want.

I think that Hormel has always been a quality product.
