No matter how wet you get the dough the tortillas come out dry and brittle. Quaker Masa mix is better. I have even let the Maseca mixed dough sit overnight in the fridge for the flour to absorb as much as possible the water and I still got hard, dry, brittle tortillas. I bought a bag of Quaker corn masa mix and my results were superior to this mix. The Quaker tortillas were delicious and soft!

My spouse received a tamale kit for the holidays and made a few tamales. We wanted more so buying larger packages of ingredients made sense. This arrived quickly and was packaged well. The price is better than the grocery store for me and with the shipping pass it was very inexpensive to purchase.
