Wow I had no clue that Downy changed the formula until I got on here to see what other scents were available in the Unstopables and saw the reviews for the fabric softener I have been using for years. Let's just say I was probably one of the few people that used the lavender vanilla Tide, Downy and Downy sheets until all got discontinued. I had have been very disappointed with the smell of my laundry over the past 6 months and this explains everything. I switched detergents about a dozen times thinking it was just that scent but everything kept coming out with a dingy smell to it. I know it is not my equipment b/c my roommates cloths do not have the smell mine do. I am very disappointed with the changes but do really enjoy the Unstopables so hopefully I can switch to the other lavender softener and can get back to enjoying the relaxing scent I grew to love.

It left my laundry smelling clean and made our clothes feel incredibly soft. I noticed the biggest difference with our bath towels, which normally come out of the dryer a little rougher each time we wash them. A little goes a long way and this bottle will definitely last us a long time!

This is my all-time favorite fabric softener. I have used this for years and have no plans to switch! It smells amazing and lasts after the clothes are washed. I get compliments all the time saying my clothes smell good and it’s because of this! GREAT price for it too. Never stop carrying this product!

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE CALLED TO ASK ABOUT THE LAUNDRY PRODUCTS I USED BECAUSE THEY LOVED THE SMELL! IT WAS THE OLD FORMULA OF LAVENDER AND VANILLA. THE JOY IS GONE! THE CALLS ARE GONE! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!! THE NEW SCENT IS NOT NEARLY AS GOOD. PLEASE! PLEASE!

I absolutely loved the old lavender and vanilla scent!!! I do not like the new scent and like everyone else wish dearly that you would bring back the original lavender and vanilla scent!!!!!Currently using another product. I would have given the old product 5 stars and recommeded it to everyone!!!!

The calm scent smells great with lavender and vanilla. Just add a cap full to each load of laundry and your clothes will come out soft, clean, and fresh every time. Downy is the only brand my household uses, and we will continue to use it. The quality for the price is unbeatable.

WOULD RATE NEGATIVE IF I COULD... completely agree with others who are UNHAPPY with this new product scent. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED the ORIGINAL LAVENDER VANILLA is no longer available. i will NOT purchase from this manufacturer again until you bring back the BEST SCENT on the market.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back original lav/vanilla. i will gladly spend more money for Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Lavender UNLESS you bring the original back......

I was very upset to discover that the lavender/vanilla scent had been changed. I'm not even sure when it happened because I bought it in bulk and I just recently ran out. Unfortunately I went with another brand because I didn't like the new scent. I sincerely hope you change it back but untill then I guess all I can do is wait.

This fabric softener is very effective because the smell last for very long time after doing laundry. The bottle is so cute the lid design is beautiful and also it's a great value for the money up to 39 medium loads that's a lot..

I was doing my monthly shopping and picked up the new purple bottle of fabric softener thinking it was my beloved vanilla & lavender scent. Luckily I opened the bottle and smelled it before I made my purchase. My nose was filled with such a horrible perfume i nearly dropped the bottle. This is not my favorite vanilla & lavender that i use to wash my clothes with, its a bad imitation. I can only find my scent in the dryer sheets which are also becoming hard to find. Please bring back the original Vanilla & Lavender scent and I will return as a faithful customer of the Downy Products.
