I'm yet ANOTHER person disappointed in the change to a new scent. PLEASE bring back the old Lavender Vanilla! I didn't know it had been discontinued. I grabbed what I thought was my standby FAVORITE fabric softener ever, and went on my way. I went to put some in my rinse and immediately knew something was very wrong. I deal with fragrances for a living (I handmake candles, toiletries and home fragrancing items.) and have a very sensitive nose. I also know how to make my own scented fabric softener. I didn't though, because I loved the old Lavender Vanilla scent so much! I found a fragrance I can use that is a near duplicate of your old scent, and am now making my own. But if the old LV is brought back, I will stop and buy it again!! Begging you all, please! This scent does not make me "feel more serene."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used Downy in forever, let alone fabric softener, but let me tell you that this smells absolutely amazing and leaves your clothes smelling so wonderful. For such a small amount added to a heavy load of clothes and the whole entire load coming out smelling like lavender and fresh was amazing to me. The clothes dried softly and made them feel very comforting. I stopped awhile back using fabric softeners because I was not sure it was doing their job. However Downy definitely hit the nail on the head with this product.

I too want the old vanilla lavender back!!!!!!!! It was so much better! I miss it. I have one left that I was able to find and I'm streching it's use but it's almost gone. I've searched but can't find any more. It's so sad. The new one just can't compare to the scent of the old one!

This product Downy Infusion Calm lavender & vanilla bean fabric conditioner is such an awesome fabric conditioner that leaves a long-lasting fragrance on your clothes and soft to the touch. The aroma of lavender while rinsing, is Also very nice. The only con is its not sold in a larger bottle. I highly recommend this product.

The Downy Infusions Liquid Fabric Softener is perfect at making my clothes smell and feel great! I use this every wash and my clothes always come out smelling great and feeling softer than before. I wish this line had more scent options but I love the lavender and vanilla.

This fabric softener smells so good! I love the fact that it keeps your fabrics smelling clean and fresh out of the washer even long after you've done washing. As for calming not too sure but it definitely has a soothing smell that could cause you to become.

I got this product specifically for a sweater I needed to soften. I was very impressed with the results. It was affordable and an easy fix. The bottle is cute and the scent is mild but fresh. I read fabric softeners can ruin your washer and some clothing so I won't be using it every wash

I have used and loved all of the scents from the Downy infusions line, but this Calm scent is by far my favorite. The scent is light and not too overpowering, and makes my clothing, towels and sheets smell so amazing. It definitely imparts and sense of Calm and relaxation. Feels and smells so luxurious on all of my laundry items. Cannot recommend enough.
