[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dish soap has a strong smell. But if you use very little soap yet you will get a lot done. So I do recommend not to use too much soap while cleaning dishes. Not sure about the side effects of the chemicals that give it a strong smell. It is effective as it does help with grease easily. Might be a little pricey than the average value store brand but it does the job effectively.

Nothing fights grease and grime like Dawn! My husband had some weird thick greasy substance all around the lower portion of his truck as if he drove through something and it splashed up onto the paint. We tried everything and nothing would remove it. Our last resort was just to squeeze straight Dawn dish soap onto the areas and scrubbed with just a damp sponge. The substance came off! Seriously it looked like thick tar and the Dawn made it disappear!!

We love Dawn, it makes washing dishes not as daunting. Removes tough stains, and makes the dishes smell fresh and clean removing any sign of food residue. It also has a multitude of other uses like mixing it with warm water, you can clean jewelry even works great as a pre laundry treatment for stains. Just rub a dab into the stain before it goes in the wash and it can remove or greatly reduce it! Surprisingly a money saver as well, because a little goes a long way compared to other brands.
