I've always used Dawn. It gets dishes clean and doesn't irritate my skin or dry my hands out.

Lasts long and is gentle on hands. Works well for getting grease of dishes and smells good too.

A little goes along way with Dawn. I let my pots and pans soak with Dawn and they're easy to wash.
