I have tired many different dish soaps and I keep coming back to this one and for good reason! I never need too much of liquid to get the job done. Food stuck on the pan soak it. Grease on your shirt dab some dawn on the stain. Dries out the hands if you're not wearing gloves but I keep a bottle of lotion next to my sink and that helps the problem.

When I moved into my apartment, I made the mistake of not checking for a dishwasher. So, now being a peasant I have to hand wash all my dishes. It is a chore that I do not enjoy. At least, using a good quality detergent has made it easier. It is, to put it mildly, a chore I absolutely despise, a tedious and time-consuming ritual that eats into my evenings. I used to buy the cheapest dishwashing liquid I could find but now I stick with Dawn. I do need a squirt or two but it cleans easily. I usually stick with the regular unscented version. I would recommend wearing gloves though because it is drying on skin.
