I used these beads on a few loads of laundry. It smells nice (it smells like laundry softener to me, which I don't currently use), and continued to keep smelling that way after a dry cycle. They're also kind of hard to use in a front-load washer. You can't put it in the detergent dispenser, and in sprinkling it on my clothes inside the washer, some beads always inevitably fell out, and after the the washer was done there were some undissolved beads that got stuck in between the door and the rubber lining the washer. Our clothes aren't particularly smelly, so it's hard for me to judge its value in removing odor, but if you want to give your laundry and extra dose of pleasantness you can try them out. I tried to use this product on the sheets for my bed and loved the smell at first. The smell faded after a couple days even though I was expecting it to last a little longer. I did received these products complimentary for testing purposes, however my opinion is all my own!

My husband is in the army so his uniform normally smells awful. These downy fresh protect beads really help keep his uniform smelling fresh all day long!

And let me tell you they smell amazing! He gets so many compliments about how good his clothes smell. This product was very easy to use and smells so good! I've never used any type of odor shield or scent booster before in my wash, but I'm completely hooked now! I love these beads! I used them for my athletic wear and that was a good idea and a perfect use! They don't smell sweaty, and even better, I smell good while I am working out. As a first time user i was surprised at how much i liked the product. It has a wonderful smell to it, great for those summer time clothes. It can be over powering so used to your needs. Defiantly recommend this product if you want an extra sent boost to your clothing, but remember this is not a detergent.

I used this product with my wash when I did a bedsheets and bath towel load as I wasn't sure how fragrant it would be and I'm not the type to like to have a heavy scent. I was surprised that it was the perfect level of scent for me. Just enough to smell fresh but not overloading and heavy. I decided to try these in a load of towels. Lately the towels had a musty, mildew odor that would not come out even after using a strong detergent and and Oxy additive. These little beauties did the trick! The tOwen's came out smelling awesome and the smell lasted for several days. I will definitely be purchasing these.
