These beads left my laundry smelling fresh. There was no weird smell and previous smells that were once associated with my clothing disappeared. I used this often after campfires and it took the smell right out. Very easy to use and a little goes a long way. If you have problems with smelly clothes, this is your solution. Using this product was really easy all i had to do was put them into my washer before putting in my clothes and it was a normal process, and when i took out my clothes they smelt like roses and really fresh and it made the scent to all my garments not just a few. Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield works great! They are easy to use- just sprinkle some of the beads in your washer along with your normal amount of detergent and wash. My laundry came out smelling so fresh and clean. The April Fresh scent is refreshing and clean smelling. My whole basment, where my washer is, smells great now! I definitely recommend this product. I loved this product. The April fresh scent was amazing! My boyfriend even noted the smell of my shirt and he loved it. I really love when I put my clothes on and they smell like a flower! First An foremost shout of to influenster for this awesome product. Ok so I decided to use this on my sheets an blankets an wow, the smell is amazing. An they stay fresh for so long. Every time I get into bed all I smell is the fresh clean smell of sheets. I will definitely be buy this product, next time I go the store. I received a sample of the Downy scent beads. I normally use the ones by tide so I was curious to see how they compared. With the tide product it took like half a bottle to smell anything with the downy product it took a quarter of the small sample bag to have a powerful fragrance. I definitely think the value is way better with downy!

This odor shield is great. I love how it smells and made my clothes smell and feel fresher after washing them. I discovered several reasons to have Downey's In-Wash Odor Shield beads on hand. I received three complimentary samples to test at an opportune time. I had finished washing a load of clothes and had put them in the dryer and then I started a second load forgetting to turn the dryer on. A family emergency came up because of this I completely forgot all about the clothes in the washer and dryer until two days later when I went to look for something to wear. If you've ever done this you know that even though you rewash the clothes there can be a leftover odor of mildew after drying them. I rewashed and dried both batches of clothes using the samples. I was very happy to find that in wearing the clothes there was no hint of a mildew odor present even though it was in 90s outside and I had just spent the day doing yard work for myself and my Dad's yard. I don't know if this was one of the reasons Downey came up with this product, but it certainly worked for me.

I loved this product! I washed a load of my gym clothes with the beads and I was able to work out, then leave the gym still smelling fresh! If you are sensitive to strong scents, this may not be the best choice, but I happened to really like how the beads smelled.
