Disclaimer: I received this product free for reviewing purposes. The review here is one hundred percent my own opinion. I love this product. It smells great, and it does exactly what it claims. Nothing left behind either in the washer or on the clothes, planning on buying some myself soon.

This was my first time trying a "deodorant for my clothes" and I was really impressed. I typically use unscented detergents so using this was a little risky for me. The scent was not overwhelming, but you could tell it was doing the job. I would use this again!

I like the scent, but sometimes the balls get stuck on my clothes instead of fully dissolving. It does always leave my clothing items smelling amazing that's for sure. Usually you can find it on sale or with a discount coupon so that is helpful. I haven't had any allergic reaction to it, but I am not sensitive to scent so I expected good results.

I used the Downy Fresh Protect Beads on my first load of wash back from vacation and man, this product is amazing! I simply added the product to my washing machine and ran the load like normal. I could definitely smell the difference from my normal loads of wash. The freshness and amazing smell lasted for a while and definitely lived up to my expectations. My friend recommended this product awhile ago. I never got the chance to until now. What surprised me was that my clothes still smelled fresh, after I accidentally left them in the washer overnight (I forgot to dry it right away); unlike before when they would smell musty when that happened. Now it will be a staple in my laundry regimen.

I absolutely love this product. It made my clothes smell even more fresh and I like that I could put it in the wash before I added my clothes. I always forget to add fabric softener. I loved this product. I received it in a free box to test, and all opinions I write are completely my own. That being said, I loved the smell! It helped the washer with the funky smell it sometimes has as well. I recommend them to anyone who likes clothes to smell good. And who doesn't like that?

Let me start my saying that when I opened my sample this was the first thing that I smelled and it was amazing! It was nice and "Fresh" it was not overpowering at all like what I have experienced with some other laundry scented products in the past. I was really excited to be trying this as I new about the Scent Beads in the past but had never tried them. My husband works in an environment where he gets oils all over his clothes and no matter how hard we have tried, we have not found a way to mask the scent, so this was the perfect product to finally be able to use on his clothes to see if we could finally get that stinky oil smell off of his clothing. I found that the Downy® Fresh Protect was really amazing at getting rid of that nasty oily smell on his work clothes. Not only is this product really easy to use, (just pour the measured amount into your laundry while you washing your clothes), but it is great smelling and it is effecting at controlling odor.

I really did like this product, but I'm not going to lie I was a little confused as to what to do. Even being intelligent it took me a minute to figure out the "beads". I thought my clothes smelled pretty well after using this and would definitely use it for the extra smelly stuff that gets thrown in.
